I know I really need to do some serious exercise. I used to be ultra-active in sports - swimming. Back in grade school, high school and college I am part of the swimming team. I could even do the stair climbing exercise. To describe it, my coach would let us climb the stairs of the 5-storey school building up and down several times. I think I was breathless but I was able to do it. Now, whenever I climb stairs I am grasping for air. It is really a sign that I am not fit. And, I really need to start exercising.

I love to eat salty foods. I love to put salt rather than pepper in my soup. Unfortunately, salt retain water in the body and one might feel bloated. But, salt is not fattening. Salt has no calories. And, only those food with calories can make you fat. However, since salt retain water in the body then one can't help but feel fatter.

Water. Everybody says you need to drink at least 8 ounces of water per day. Unfortunately, I am someone who takes soft drinks as water. So, It is kind of hard for me to regularly drink water.
Most says water is effective in any weight loss program. As, water can help suppress appetite. Meaning, water will help fill my stomach, which will make me feel less hungry and will make me eat less.
